Technician for Building Automation / Building Management Systems (m/f/d)

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of the building management system at ifm locations in the Lake Constance region
• Planning and implementation of projects in building automation as well as measurement, control, and regulation technology
• Analysis and troubleshooting of technical building services and automation systems
• Optimization of control strategies, system functions, and energy consumption to increase energy efficiency and operational safety
• Planning and supervision of control cabinets and control systems as well as coordination with internal and external project partners
• Support during commissioning, acceptance, and defect rectification
• Creation and maintenance of documentation, visualizations, and system diagrams
• Evaluation of operational and energy data as well as implementation of optimization measures
• Ensuring economical, energy-efficient, and trouble-free system operation, taking into account current standards and norms

• Successfully completed training in the electrical engineering field
• Further qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman (m/f/d) or a completed degree in electrical engineering
• Professional experience in building automation or building management systems
• Knowledge in the programming and commissioning of Kieback & Peter and KNX systems is desirable
• Knowledge of common fieldbus protocols (e.g., IO-Link, BACnet, Modbus, DALI, SMI, Ethernet)
• Ideally, experience in PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3
• Basic knowledge of network technology
• Structured, analytical, and independent work style
• Good German language skills
• Driver's license class B
