Process Technician in Injection Molding (M/F)

We are recruiting for

For our client, an international manufacturing company specializing in high-quality products and components for the medical industry, we are currently looking for a Process Technician to be responsible for setting up processes in the injection molding area for a newly established production plant. Workplace: near Sieradz

Your responsibilities

• assembly, disassembly, and retooling of injection molds and connection of peripheral devices (thermostats, grippers, dryers),
• setting, correcting, and optimizing injection process parameters,
• participation in the implementation of new projects: technological trials, commissioning of new molds, parameter selection and process stabilization for serial production,
• preparation and updating of setting sheets and process documentation for new products,
• cooperation with technologists, quality department, tool room, and maintenance in solving problems during the implementation phase,
• first piece inspection and quality control of parts (measurements, visual assessment), analysis and elimination of injection defects,
• reliable shift handover, including information on trial status and implemented changes,
• support and instruction for operators with new products.

Our requirements

• min. 3 years of experience as an injection molding machine setter,
• very good knowledge of the injection molding process and the ability to independently eliminate defects (underfills, flash, sink marks, streaks, etc.),
• ability to read technical drawings and work with measuring instruments,
• readiness to work in a two-shift system,
• independence, accuracy, and good communication within the team.

Nice to have

• forklift and/or overhead crane operator license,
• knowledge of English,
• knowledge of the validation process in the medical industry,
• experience in commissioning new molds or projects,
• familiarity with Engel, Arburg, Sumitomo Demag injection molding machines.
