Job description

What will you do:

Is this about you?

You find satisfaction in technology that matters. You consider it important that installations function safely, faults are resolved quickly, and maintenance is carried out properly. You are customer-oriented and flexible, and can act calmly and thoughtfully even under time pressure, for example, when a customer needs power back as soon as possible.

You think solution-oriented and tackle faults as a technical puzzle. At the same time, you look ahead: you plan and coordinate activities to ensure efficient work and that safety is always guaranteed.

You are proud of your profession, enjoy working with colleagues and partners, and are open to further specialization. Furthermore, you are willing to participate in the on-call duty, from Monday to Monday, on average once every six weeks.

Your job

As a Technician, you are responsible for preparing, executing, and coordinating maintenance, inspection, and fault work on installations and energy grids. You contribute to the availability, safety, and reliability of important energy assets.

You will have the opportunity to specialize further in protections and various measurements. To maintain the necessary qualifications, you will be re-certified every three years according to the applicable BEI BHS-, NEN 3140-, and Stipel requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and carry out maintenance and inspection work.

  • Analyze faults on-site and ensure a suitable, safe solution.

  • Perform or supervise corrective and preventive maintenance.

  • Coordinate mechanics and external partners during work.

  • Oversee quality, safety, planning, and progress.

  • Coordinate customer-oriented with internal and external stakeholders, even when quick action is needed.

  • Ensure correct technical administration and reporting.

A typical workday? After a warm handover from the work responsible person, you prepare the planned activities. Then, you carry out the day's maintenance or go to a fault assigned to you by planning. On location, you coordinate with mechanics or contractors and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to plan. This way, you make a direct impact on the reliability of the energy supply every day.

You will join a team of approximately 22 colleagues, consisting of mechanics, contract managers, supervisors, planners, technicians, and business support.

This is what you get from us

Working together on energy security and a sustainable future is our mission. We also aim for a sustainable future in our collaboration with you.

Therefore, you will quickly receive a permanent contract, an attractive salary, and an excellent package of flexible employment conditions.

  • A salary of € 2,877 to € 4,111 gross per month (scale 5, based on a 38-hour work week). The grading depends on knowledge and experience.

  • An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (including holiday pay) on top of your gross salary. With this, you can align your employment conditions with your personal situation. For example, have it paid out or buy extra leave.

  • If you have the Individual Choice Budget paid out monthly, your salary can increase to €3,395 to €4,851 gross per month.

  • A year-end bonus of 5.94%.

  • 20 leave days plus 36 hours of extra saved leave annually.

  • Plenty of room for your development, now and in the future. You will receive training and education, and a Sustainable Employability Budget of € 500.
