Become an E/I Technician at Teijin Aramid in Emmen

Everything in the field of electrical engineering is present at our site. Drive technology, measurement & control technology, low voltage, instrumentation, and control technology (PCS7/ Siemens). Furthermore, there are many opportunities for further development.

In this role, you will resolve complex and extensive malfunctions and perform various maintenance tasks on company equipment and installations in the areas of electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control. You will report to the Maintenance Team Leader, and your work location is Emmen.

What will you do?

• Resolve malfunctions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installations and equipment based on received notifications in consultation with production, so that processes can be safely resumed and stagnation is minimized.
• Identify defects and repair electrical and instrumentation technical components and installations in both conventional systems and control systems with PLCs and microprocessors.
• Perform administrative tasks, including accounting for time spent and material usage in SAP.
• Make improvement suggestions and report on the condition of installations.

What do you bring?

• You have a relevant completed E/I education at MBO 4 level, or a comparable level.
• You have several years of experience in a maintenance organization (preferably also in Measurement & Control Technology).
• You have knowledge of the operation of technical installations, their maintenance, and technical execution.
• You have extensive experience with PLCs, frequency converters, instrumentation, and electrical engineering.
• You have strong communication skills, you can prioritize well, you are solution-oriented, analytical, and driven.
• Willingness to work on standby duty.
