Our industrial partner, a major supplier of commercial and industrial equipment located in Boucherville, is currently looking for a Route Technician to join their dynamic team.

Job Summary :
The person responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems at client sites. They diagnose faults, perform necessary repairs and ensure that equipment or machines function correctly.

Main Responsibilities :
  • Install equipment and hydraulic systems at clients' sites;
  • Maintain systems, machines and hydraulic equipment to ensure proper functioning;
  • Inspect machinery, equipment and hydraulic systems to identify irregularities and failures to produce a diagnosis;
  • Rename, adjust, disassemble, replace and fabricate defective parts and components of hydraulic systems to complete installations or repairs;
  • Read and interpret plans, diagrams and technical drawings;
  • Ensure the quality of installations and repairs by performing conformity checks before and after each intervention, in accordance with established standards and specifications;
  • Select and prepare necessary parts and tools before each on-site intervention;
  • Write detailed technical reports after each intervention;
  • Respect safety norms and internal company procedures during each on-site intervention;
  • All other connected tasks.
Requirements :
  • Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent;
  • Two (2) years of experience as a route technician or similar position;
  • One (1) year of experience in mechanics (troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, etc.);
  • No criminal record or prior convictions;
  • Holds a valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics;
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical principles (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division);
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery systems (an asset);
  • Knowledge of welding (an asset);
  • Mastery of the French language, both spoken and written;

  • Ability to work under pressure;

  • Punctuality and attendance;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks;
  • Good communication skills.

  • Permanent full-time daytime position, 40 hours a week;
  • Salary offer: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience.
