Who are we?

Télécom Paris, an IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) school and founding member of Institut Polytechnique de Paris, is a top 5 French general engineering school.

The Purpose of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine, and undertake to design digital models, technologies, and solutions for the service of a society and economy that respects humans and their environment.



We are currently looking for a maintenance technician to join our building department within the Real Estate and Logistics division of Télécom Paris.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of TCE installations

    • Responsible for first-level emergency interventions before external TCE contractors are called in (plumbing, painting, locksmithing, carpentry, interior/exterior fitting, HVAC, low-voltage electrical)

    • Prepare and organize service provider interventions

    • Perform periodic tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) of inspection, measurement, replacement of defective parts, and troubleshooting of the School's Technical TCE installations

  • Monitor contractor interventions

    • Schedule interventions with various service providers, organizing time slots in coordination with internal teams and building occupants

  • Process requests received via ticket


To succeed in this role, you must have experience in building and equipment maintenance, meaning you possess regulatory and technical knowledge, and experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Technical TCE installations in a public-access establishment. You must also be able to work autonomously and detect anomalies in a Technical TCE installation during a malfunction.

We are looking for a motivated, rigorous person with excellent organizational skills. You must also have good communication skills to work effectively with other team members and the various departments of Télécom Paris.

Salary indication:

Indicative salary range (excluding variable annual bonus): €25,000 to €35,000 gross per year, depending on profile and experience, as defined by our legal framework. Note: our social security contributions are lower than in the private sector.
