Versatile Legal Technician

Baro RH, a subsidiary of the SFT group, is recruiting a legal technician to join the multidisciplinary team of its client, a reputable law firm located in Quebec City. In this role, you will collaborate with lawyers specializing in insurance law, municipal and administrative law, business law, litigation, labor law, as well as in matters of medical errors and bodily injuries. • Assist legal professionals in jurisprudential and doctrinal research;
• Prepare and draft legal documents (contracts, notarial deeds, wills, etc.);
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant information;
• Ensure the updating of laws and regulations;
• Participate in the preparation of files for the Court;
• Prepare briefs of appeal;
• Participate in court vacations;
• Collaborate with clients and partners with professionalism and discretion.

• Diploma of college studies in legal technology;
• 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Excellent command of French, both oral and written;
• Mastery of various computer databases;
• Interest and ability to work in a team;
• Rigor, attention to detail and good organizational skills;
• Demonstrate autonomy and have a sense of responsibility;
