Responsibilities and expectations:We are looking for a highly qualified IT Technician with solid skills in troubleshooting, workstation support, networking, Microsoft Cloud services, and customer service. This position involves providing on-site support for the Quebec region, as well as supporting other IPS regions through our ticketing system. Responsibilities and expectations:We are looking for a highly qualified IT Technician with solid skills in troubleshooting, workstation support, networking, Microsoft Cloud services, and customer service. This position involves providing on-site support for the Quebec region, as well as supporting other IPS regions through our ticketing system. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Creating, deploying PC images, and migrating user data.
- SUPPORTING users with hardware, software, mobile devices, file services, and printing.
- Aiding in the configuration, optimization, adjustment, and monitoring of software and hardware systems.
- Documenting and tracking equipment inventory, and collaborating on potential purchases.
- Monitoring and managing Service Desk tickets.
- Assisting the department with assigned projects.
- Researching and resolving software and hardware issues.
- Providing written resolutions via the ticketing system and implementing appropriate actions/solutions.
- Analyzing root causes and resolving escalated workstation issues for users.
- Regularly and effectively communicating with individuals who submitted tickets.
- Being able to troubleshoot remotely and providing clear instructions.
Qualifications and skills:
- Diploma or certification in a technical field, or three years of equivalent experience.
- Three years of experience in administering a Windows network environment supporting over 100 PCs.
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Office 365, and computer peripherals such as mobile phones, printers, and scanners.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations with clients.
