About the Internal IT Team

Lengow's internal IT team ensures the smooth operation and security of the work environment for our 150 employees across Nantes, Paris, and Barcelona.

It consists of an IT Manager, responsible for the entire internal IT scope, accompanied by a Systems and Networks Technician apprentice.

Our environment notably covers user support, IT asset management, systems and networks, account and access management, security, and administration of our internal tools.

The team operates in a multi-site and multi-OS environment (Windows, macOS, and Linux) and works on both daily IT operations and projects for the improvement and modernization of our environment.

Job Objective

We are looking for a Systems and Networks Technician Apprentice to join our IT team and work daily alongside the IT Manager.

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop concrete and versatile internal IT experience, alongside the IT Manager. You will progressively gain skills in a varied IT scope, with increasing autonomy and responsibilities, both in daily operations and improvement projects.

You will evolve in an international environment, with collaborators present on multiple sites, to be supported both on-site and remotely.

⌨️ Your Main Responsibilities

User Support

• Provide IT support to employees on-site and remotely
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to workstations, tools, and access
• Prepare and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager when necessary

IT Assets

• Prepare, configure, and maintain user equipment
• Participate in IT asset tracking and inventory management
• Work with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Participate in equipment renewal and deployment

Systems, Access & Networks

• Participate in the administration of Google Workspace and Active Directory
• Contribute to the management of user accounts, groups, and permissions
• Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the network: Wi-Fi, VLANs, switches, and connectivity
• Contribute to the operational maintenance of the IT environment

Security & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the deployment of security updates and tools
• Participate in monitoring workstation security
• Contribute to the documentation of procedures and the IT environment
• Participate in the improvement and automation of IT processes
• Assist the IT Manager on various environment evolution projects

Requirements

🏹 Desired Profile

Knowledge:

• Solid networking basics (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
• Initial knowledge in Windows and/or Linux system administration; a first exposure to Active Directory is appreciated
• Awareness of IT security best practices
• Fluent French and good professional English level (B2 minimum)

Personal Qualities:

• Curiosity, rigor, and a desire to learn
• Good interpersonal skills and service orientation
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Team spirit and ability to collaborate

Previous experience in support or systems and network administration is appreciated, but we are primarily looking for someone with good technical foundations and the desire to progress in a varied IT scope.
