Job description
At the head of companies that are committed to a more sustainable future, Alstom develops and commercializes mobility solutions that provide the foundations for the future of transportation. Our product portfolio extends from high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and tramways to integrated systems, tailored services, infrastructure, signaling, and digital mobility solutions. Joining us means joining a benevolent, responsible, and innovative company where over 80,000 people are paving the way for greener and smarter mobility worldwide.
Could you be our full-time SQA Technician (Quality Suppliers Performance Management) in Fès that we're looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and leverage your expertise in supplier quality management in a cutting-edge field. You will work with a collaborative, engaged, and solution-oriented team, and play a key role in improving the performance of our suppliers while ensuring compliance with products delivered to our facilities.
Daily, you will collaborate closely with internal teams (quality engineers, production, supply chain) and our suppliers to ensure product quality, resolve non-conformities, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
You will be particularly responsible for managing non-conformities, securing actions, and inspecting low-criticality parts. You will also be responsible for animating continuous improvement plans for underperforming suppliers.
We'll call on you to:
-
Manage non-conformities by ensuring rapid communication with suppliers and following action plans to achieve set objectives.
-
Bill costs related to non-quality (CONQ S1) to affected suppliers.
-
Organize security actions, including retrofits and on-site actions.
-
Evaluate the effectiveness of supplier corrective and preventive action plans and conduct follow-up visits.
-
Establish and manage improvement roadmaps for underperforming suppliers.
-
Supervise activities inspecting low-criticality parts and ensure their conformity.
-
Prepare and follow up on quality supplier reviews to address key issues.
-
Manage daily incoming inspection activities and oversee the inspector team to ensure product delivery compliance.
-
Maintain and publish performance indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Your profile:
We place more importance on passion and attitude than experience. That's why we don't expect you to have all the skills. We've drawn up a list of those that, in our opinion, will help you succeed and thrive in this role:
-
Master's degree in quality, engineering, or equivalent.
-
Experience or understanding of supplier relationships and non-conformity management.
-
Knowledge of quality methodologies, such as the 8D approach, and quality management tools.
-
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
-
Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
-
Ability to analyze data and identify innovative and pragmatic solutions.
-
A resilient and persuasive approach to tackle challenges and achieve set objectives.
You'll appreciate:
Join us for a new life experience - the railway sector is a future-oriented industry, where you can develop and acquire new skills and experiences throughout your career. You will also:
-
Benefit from stability, challenges, and long-term career prospects without daily routine.
-
Collaborate with diverse and talented suppliers and internal teams.
-
Contribute to innovative projects with significant impact.
-
Use our structured but flexible work environment.
-
Orient your career in the direction of your choice through functions and countries.
-
Benefit from our investment in your development, through prime learning programs.
-
Progress to leadership or technical specialization roles according to your aspirations.
-
Benefit from a fair and dynamic compensation system that recognizes your performance and potential, as well as comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life insurance, health insurance, pension).
No need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you ride one of our trains with friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're ready to take on the challenge, we'd love to get to know you!
