Job description

Position: Technician (position 2.1, coefficient 275, Syntec collective agreement) · Based in France · Interventions on our infrastructure, throughout France and internationally

Do you love fieldwork, sites that are never the same, and that moment when the connection finally goes up. At Azurreo, you will install, connect, test, and troubleshoot our own network and telecommunications infrastructure, the one that powers our activities and platforms around the world.

A field position, but with fixed hours from Monday to Friday, paid overtime recorded in your contract, expenses advanced by the company, and your certifications financed if you don't have them yet.

Who we are

Azurreo is the telecommunications and technologies branch of Seelon Holdings, an international investment group present on four continents. We are a benchmark player in network performance testing: our SignalVerify platform measures the quality of service and quality of experience of networks in over 144 countries.

For over fifteen years, we have been supporting telecom operators, integrators, manufacturers, and large companies in the deployment and maintenance of their infrastructures in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa: over 250 projects delivered in more than 25 countries.

To support this activity, Azurreo operates and maintains its own network of technical infrastructures in France and internationally. This is the infrastructure you will be in charge of: the one that allows our teams and platforms to function, day after day, wherever we are present.

What a week looks like

No two weeks are the same:

  • Installation. Mounting a rack on one of our sites, connecting, patching, labeling, testing, commissioning.

  • Troubleshooting. A link that hasn't been up for three days. The cabling plan doesn't match the existing infrastructure. You investigate, you measure, you find the issue, and you document your findings.

  • Datacenter. Rack & stack, cross-connects, installation of active equipment.

  • Multi-site deployment. Several of our sites in the same week: Wi-Fi access points, switches, basic configuration, reports.

  • International missions. Some weeks will take you to our sites outside of France.

  • Back-office days. Equipment preparation, inventory and tool management, preventive maintenance, ticket updates. Not every week is a travel week.

What you will do

  • Installation and deployment. Installation and commissioning of telecommunications and IT equipment on our sites. Cabling, connection, and patching. Deployment of routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and connectivity equipment. Preparation of equipment before intervention, participation in migrations and deployments on our infrastructures.

  • Maintenance and technical support. Preventive and corrective maintenance of our equipment. Incident diagnosis and troubleshooting. Replacement and reconfiguration of faulty equipment. Verification of proper functioning after intervention.

  • Monitoring and reporting. Writing intervention reports, updating monitoring tools and incident tickets, managing assigned equipment, participating in stocktaking and inventories, escalating anomalies to the relevant teams.

  • Quality and safety. Compliance with Azurreo's quality and safety procedures and site-specific instructions, appropriate use of provided equipment and tools.

The technologies you will encounter

  • Networks: TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, LAN / WAN

  • Manufacturers: Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper

  • Telecoms: fiber optics, FTTH, FTTO, RJ45, patching, IT racks

  • Datacenter: rack & stack, cross-connect, installation, maintenance

You don't master all of this? No one masters it entirely. We are looking for good technical foundations, curiosity, and rigor. The rest can be learned.

Let's talk frankly about travel

  • Travel in France and internationally is an integral part of the job: it is not occasional, it is a requirement.

  • The pace varies significantly depending on the projects: some weeks with no travel, others with overnight stays in France or abroad. We do not guarantee a fixed rhythm.

  • A utility vehicle is provided for interventions in France: it is not a company car and it does not go home with you in the evening.

  • Unforeseen events are part of the job: material not delivered, site closed, existing cabling not conforming to the plan.

  • There is handling, work above suspended ceilings, and cramped technical rooms.

  • In return: all professional expenses are covered in advance, hours remain fixed, overtime is paid, and you don't spend your days in the same office doing the same thing.

The profile we are looking for

Essential

  • Reside in France

  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

  • Available for frequent travel, in France and internationally

  • Education or experience in telecommunications, networks, or technical infrastructure

  • Knowledge of computer networks, RJ45 cabling, and fiber optics

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical incidents

  • Fluent French, English level A2 minimum (spoken and for reading technical documentation)

  • Proficiency in common office software

  • Autonomy, rigor, organization

  • Ability to work on the go and adapt to varied technical environments

Appreciated, but not required

  • English beyond A2 level

  • Experience with Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, Fortinet, or Juniper equipment

  • Fiber optics: connection, splicing, measurements. Wi-Fi, datacenter

  • Network certifications (CCNA or equivalent) and up-to-date qualifications: AIPR, electrical safety certification, working at height, aerial work platform CACES, First Aid (SST). If you don't have them, we will organize the training for you to obtain them.

Education: Bac Pro SN, BTS SIO, BTS CIEL, BTS Telecommunications, BUT/DUT Networks & Telecommunications, Professional Bachelor's Degree in Networks, or equivalent experience. What you have done matters as much as what you have studied.

What we offer you

  • Fixed hours from Monday to Friday and no on-call duty

  • Paid overtime, with increased rates and recorded in your contract

  • Expenses advanced by the company

  • Your certifications and qualifications financed if you don't have them

  • Real continuous training, with direct access to the company's engineers

  • Varied missions, in France and internationally, on our own infrastructure

  • An international company with a human scale

The recruitment process

  • Review of your application by our recruitment team

  • HR interview, via video (30 to 40 min), with the recruiter, about your background, your expectations, and the position in detail

  • Technical interview (45 to 60 min) with your future manager, on technical aspects, fieldwork, and your methodology

  • Final interview (30 min) with Adam Anbari, manager of Azurreo EURL

Hiring is conditional upon a medical examination to determine fitness for the position.

How to apply

Send us your CV. No cover letter needed; a few lines about an intervention you are proud of (what needed to be done, what went wrong, how you fixed it) speak to us more.

Azurreo considers all applications equally based on skills, without distinction of origin, gender, age, personal situation, or disability.
