Civil Engineering Technician - Site Supervision

TEHORA is currently looking for a civil engineering technician - site supervision with excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wishes to use their skills within a versatile team.

Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate will have to provide.

Description of the work or deliverables:

• Carry out supervision related to roadworks, landscaping and underground infrastructure (water supply, domestic and storm sewers, etc.);
• Ensure that the work complies with the plans and specifications;
• Ensure compliance with current environmental standards;
• Validation of various payment slips;
• Coordinate and approve the work done by the laboratory;
• Complete the daily report;
• Fill out notices of non-compliance;
• Perform measurements and progressive counts.
• Follow up on modifications and approval of changes jointly with the project manager;
• Possibility of doing office work (estimation, design review, etc.) during periods when the sites are closed.
  

Requirements

• Hold a DES, a DEC in civil engineering or any other relevant discipline;
• Have between 5 to 10 years or more of relevant experience;
• Training in civil engineering site supervision (infrastructure/civil);
• Knowledge of the specifications and procedures of the City of Montreal;
• Knowledge of MTQ standards and BNQ;
• Hold the ASP Construction Card;
• Good command of French, both spoken and written;
• Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
• Likes to work outdoors (summer and winter);
• Ability to work long hours on site.

SALARY

The salary will be calculated on the basis of the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.

WORK LOCATION

The workplace will be determined according to the mandate, it can be telework or at the client's premises.
