Mobile Maintenance Technician (M/F)

Our company Signode, a specialist in packaging and conditioning, is looking for its future collaborator for the position of Mobile After-Sales Service Maintenance Technician. Area of intervention:

·       The Grand West / North quarter of France mainly, and France

·       Expect to be away from home 3 to 4 nights per week

Main objectives

·       Repairs, machine installations, and spare parts management

·       Commissioning of simple and/or complex equipment

·       Management of resources related to the position (vehicle, tools, etc.)

·       Preparation of intervention reports

Main missions

·       Troubleshooting / maintenance / commissioning interventions…

·       Familiarize yourself with the schedule established by the customer service department

·       Determine the type of intervention (troubleshooting, maintenance…), the number of machines, the conditions of intervention (height, heat, chemicals, electrical work…) …

·       Install and commission simple equipment

·       Provide customer training on simple and/or complex equipment

·       Ensure good intervention conditions (clean premises, safety measures) otherwise request that this be done, either directly with the client or with their manager

·       Be able to detect a need/intervention to be scheduled in order to trigger the establishment of a quote

·       Management of spare parts and logging of activity reports

·       Check the stock of spare parts via the physical inventory and collect the parts

·       Maintain work equipment in good condition or have it repaired if necessary (vehicle, phone, computer, toolbox…)

Key skills

·       You hold a Bac pro / BTS in electromechanics or a similar diploma

·       You are capable of reading a technical plan or diagram and an implantation plan

·       You master mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation techniques

·       You are autonomous to ensure optimum efficiency

·       Knowledge of English is a plus
