Job description
The aircraft maintenance technician is a specialist in aviation equipment. He/She works on all technical components of aircraft: engines, hydraulics, onboard systems, radar, structure, armament, electronics. He/She works in a technical squadron, in a maintenance workshop or hangar, and ensures the operational readiness of military aircraft and helicopters. Through his/her diagnostics, repairs, and checks, he/she guarantees that every flight is carried out in complete safety. He/She collaborates closely with fighter, transport, helicopter, or drone squadrons, in order to guarantee air safety and operational effectiveness. Whether on base or on an external mission, his/her expertise directly influences the success of operations. Equal pay between men and women for equivalent positions and hierarchical levels. 45 days of leave per year. Preferential rates with SNCF, up to -75% for you and -50% for your family. Free accommodation on base for new recruits or housing assistance to live outside.
