Lab Technician (M/F)

Ensure the handling of physical and chemical material characterizations to provide technical support to sales, R&D, and production.

Operational Missions:

· You ensure the calibration of measurement equipment and optimize parameters validating analysis methods.

· You sample and perform complex analyses or participate in identifying production anomalies through adapted controls.

· You interpret and comment on analysis and control results.

· You write analysis reports and ensure their transmission to requesters.

· You manage the procurement of products and consumables necessary for analyses

· You define or participate in developing and refining new or existing analysis methods.

· You record written progress steps and write final operational procedures.

· You operate a preventive follow-up on the state of equipment in the laboratory and ensure first-level maintenance and proper functioning.

· You constantly act in accordance with HSE group rules and laboratory HSE standards.

Requirements

· You hold a scientific bachelor's degree (materials science, chemistry, physics)

· You have more than 5 years of experience as a laboratory technician in material analysis (ceramics, refractory materials, raw materials)

· Experience in characterizing raw materials (density, shape factor, granulometry) and mechanical testing, thermal analysis, dilatometer measurement, optical microscope, MEB/EDS, DRX or X-ray fluorescence is desired

· You have sufficient English to collaborate and communicate with colleagues

· Knowledge of programming for data processing (via LabView, Labwindows/CVI, ... ) is a plus
