Technician/Rigger – Telecommunications - Christchurch

Description Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity We’re seeking experienced Telecommunications Technicians/Riggers to join our Energy & Utilities team based from Hornby, Christchurch . Work across mobile and ISP networks, delivering installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault response services across multiple client environments. This role includes both tower-based rigging and ground-level technical work, ensuring all assets are installed, tested and commissioned safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key responsibilities include: • Installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure • Maintenance and repair of existing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure • Fault response and troubleshooting of telecommunications issues • Collaboration with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs • Adherence to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment • Compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
