Your future role:
You will report to the site manager and work together with a knowledgeable and engaged team that helps you get started in the best possible way.
Parking lot in Helsingborg, you will work on upgrading the ETCS signaling system on X61 trains.
Based on your skills, the job will consist of disassembling, cable laying, and other tasks according to the manual. You need to be able to follow and understand instructions in English.
We expect you to:
- Work according to instructions in existing systems
- Register and document information in our systems (e.g., task text, used materials)
- Sometimes troubleshoot and repair electrical faults with the help of fault finders
- Use traverses, as well as other tools
- FOLLOW requirements in our environment-, health-, safety- and quality policy
- Work according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Alstom's railway safety policy
About you:
To succeed as a technician/maintenance worker, you need strong technical competence and an eye for detail.
You are structured and like working according to clear processes. You thrive with deadlines and delivering on time.
We also believe that you:
- Are analytical and enjoy technical troubleshooting
- Have high precision and a strong sense of responsibility
- Are a team player with good communication skills
- Education/experience or great interest in mechanical work and technology
- Experience from technical work within aviation, industry, vehicles, or similar
- Able to assemble electrical and mechanical components according to drawings and instructions
- Good knowledge of English is a big plus
Mandatory:
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of the railway industry
- Good knowledge of English
Other:
All employees must complete Alstom's internal training with a passed result (takes place during working hours).
A medical check-up is required before employment (organized by Alstom).
The job is daytime.
