Technical Training Specialist Caterpillar

Bergerat Monnoyeur, the official representative of Caterpillar in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, is hiring a trainer for the machinery division. The activity will take place at the Mogosoaia headquarters as well as in the field.

The trainer provides technical support, in the field, by phone or email, to the BERGERAT MONNOYEUR service network - machinery division. Through the technical courses they prepare and conduct, they ensure the increase of technical knowledge and competencies of the post-sales personnel.

Responsibilities:

Provides technical support, in the field, by phone or email to the Bergerat Monnoyeur service network, responding to technical assistance requests from service workshops, field mechanics, or their coordinators.

Is in direct contact with the technical services of the machinery manufacturers we distribute.

Requests technical information for cases that cannot be solved with own means and special technical information that must be applied internally.

Accompanies intervention technicians in the field to resolve complex cases.

Transmits theoretical and practical instructions on the operation and work with the machinery systems, on documentary computer programs, on diagnostics, on work procedures defined by the manufacturers, and on BM's own work procedures.

Periodically submits reports on technical assistance activity (number of requests, response time, proposals for preventive actions).

Participates in the technical personnel selection process, at the request of the HR department.

Makes proposals regarding the annual technical training plan for the service network.

Proposes and undertakes professional training actions (classroom courses, online courses, learning modules).

Participates in the periodic evaluation of the theoretical and practical technical knowledge level of mechanics and technicians.

Prepares the necessary materials for training sessions (presentations, equipment, tools, etc.).

Participates, whenever necessary, in trainings proposed by the hierarchical superior in the country and abroad.

Studies training materials provided by Caterpillar and implements them.

Prepares course books based on materials provided by machinery manufacturers: translates and edits technical texts, scans graphic elements, etc.

Provides feedback to training participants and their coordinators.

Offers suggestions regarding investments in tools and equipment specific to the activity.

Eligibility Criteria:

Higher technical education, mechanical engineering profile.

5 - 10 years of experience in the technical field, preferably in one of the following sectors: public works machinery; agricultural machinery; heavy-duty vehicles.

Driver's license category B (availability for travel).

Knowledge of the Caterpillar range and other products represented by B.M. (represents an advantage).

Good general technical knowledge.

Good PC operating skills (MS Office, Internet, Windows).
