Technical Textile Specialist

Ali Spa is seeking a Technical Textile Specialist for a textile company specializing in yarns and sustainability. The role combines process skills, focusing on optimizing the life cycle of yarn (from fiber to fabric) according to sustainability and technical performance criteria. Key Responsibilities: - Sustainable Development: Research and selection of recycled, regenerated, biological or innovative fibers with reduced environmental impact. - Yarn Quality Control: Execution of specific tests on yarns (e.g., torsion, resistance, title, uniformity) and verification of their conformity to technical standards and certifications. - Certifications: Management of documentation and support for obtaining/maintaining sustainability certifications (e.g., GRS, RWS, OEKO-TEX, BCI, etc.). - Process Optimization: Collaboration with the Spinning Department to industrialize new products, ensuring that processes respect company ecological protocols. - Product Sheets: Writing and updating technical sheets on yarns and fabrics, including tracing and sustainability data. Requirements: - Technical Higher Education Diploma: Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology or related fields. - Specific Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably with a focus on yarns and/or sustainability (laboratory, R&D, or industrialization). - Yarn Competence: In-depth knowledge of natural and synthetic fibers, their properties, and the spinning and preparation cycles for weaving. - Familiarity with Normative Standards: Knowledge of textile certification standards and environmental regulations in the sector.
