Key responsibilities include: • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying data engineering solutions using big data technologies • Leading a team of data engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy data engineering solutions • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time • Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance and support as needed • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of data engineering • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during project execution • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for projects • Providing input on project scope, timelines, and resource allocation • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their requirements • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project execution • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to team discussions • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders • Providing input on process improvements and suggesting new ideas for process enhancements • Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills • Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies • Collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed • Developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture • Providing input on company-wide initiatives and contributing to the development of new ideas • Participating in regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members • Identifying and addressing any gaps or areas for improvement in the team's skills and knowledge • Collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed • Developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture • Providing input on company-wide initiatives and contributing to the development of new ideas • Participating in regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members • Identifying and addressing any gaps or areas for improvement in the team's skills and knowledge
