Technical Superintendent
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a current Chief Engineer with at least 12 months in rank to transition your seagoing experience into a rewarding shore-based career. You'll oversee the day-to-day technical operations of assigned vessels, ensuring they are running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes coordinating maintenance and repair schedules, managing budgets, supporting dry dockings, and liaising closely with crew, ship owners, and class societies. You'll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant international and national regulations, such as the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), and the International Load Line Convention (LLC).
