We're looking for a talented Technical Solutions Engineer - Databases who will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions using Google Cloud Platform technologies. As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying database solutions that meet customer requirements. You'll also collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure seamless integration and delivery of these solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing database solutions using Google Cloud Platform technologies such as Bigtable, Spanner, Firestore, or Cloud SQL. Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing is required. Familiarity with cloud-based data processing tools like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or AWS Glue is a plus. You'll also need to have experience working with Linux operating systems and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++. Knowledge of SQL and database modeling concepts is essential. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is crucial.
