Job description

Technical Recruiter (m/f/d), remote, full-time, starting immediately.

Do you recognize if a technical profile has the experience a project truly needs? And do you enjoy finding suitable people and winning them over for a collaboration? Then we want to get to know you.

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter (m/f/d) who will support us in filling our open positions. Currently, the focus is on software development. Prospectively, we are also looking for roles in the product and project environment, such as Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.

New Monday is a UX/UI agency from Berlin. We work on digital products for companies like Atruvia, DAK, SAP, and Lufthansa, as well as for young companies like NUMA Stays. Our team works 100% remotely. We rely on independent work, short communication channels, and close exchange with each other – digitally and increasingly also at in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the filling of our technical positions – currently primarily in software development, prospectively also in roles such as Product Ownership, Project Management, and Business Analysis.
  • You will review incoming applications, assess profiles technically, and judge how well the experience and project background match our requirements.
  • If necessary, you will find suitable candidates via LinkedIn and other recruiting channels and approach them personally.
  • You will conduct initial interviews and clarify technical experience, motivation, and framework data such as availability and salary expectations.
  • You will coordinate closely with our technical contacts, prepare interviews, and guide candidates reliably through the entire process.
  • You will maintain our application processes in the applicant tracking system and ensure that information flows reliably at the interfaces between recruiting, specialist departments, and management.
  • You will monitor the market and provide us with feedback on how we can improve our search and approach.

Qualifications

  • You have experience in recruiting and active sourcing of technical specialists and have successfully filled positions in software development in particular.
  • You understand the differences between frontend, backend, and fullstack profiles and can specifically question practical project experience. Ideally, you are also familiar with profiles from the product and project environment.
  • Terms like Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, CI/CD, and Kubernetes are familiar to you. You don't need to be able to develop yourself, but you can confidently categorize technical CVs and speak with candidates at eye level.
  • You work routinely with applicant tracking systems and digital recruiting tools. Experience with JOIN is a plus.
  • You communicate appreciatively and confidently in German and English – both in writing and in conversation.
  • You work independently, structured, and transparently, and keep multiple search processes in view simultaneously.
  • You are open to using AI tools meaningfully for research, outreach, and organizing your work, and you carefully check the results.

Benefits

What awaits you at New Monday

  • 100% remote: You work within Germany from the location that suits you.
  • Flexibility and Trust: You shape your workday independently, with short coordination paths and without micromanagement.
  • A team that also meets in person: In addition to digital exchange, we consciously create space for regional meetings and joint coworking. The entire team comes together once or twice a year.
  • Time and budget for your development: We support professional development and exchange within the team. After the probationary period, you will have a training budget of €1,000 available for this.
  • Development with perspective: We are currently working on a career development plan that aims to make development opportunities and next steps at New Monday more transparent. We will regularly discuss your own goals and interests with you.
  • 30 days of vacation and an additional two days for our team events.
  • Work with scope for development: You bring in your experience and help us to further develop our recruiting for technical roles.

This is how it continues

  • Initial Get-to-Know-You: We will tell you more about New Monday and the role. You will tell us about your experience and can ask any questions that are important to you.
  • Conversation with our Co-Founders Laura Nielsen and Dario Zampetti: We will get to know each other in more detail and discuss how you would shape technical recruiting processes and collaborate with our specialist departments.
  • Technical Follow-up: Based on concrete recruiting situations, we will discuss how you assess applications, find suitable candidates, and prepare decisions. You will also have the opportunity to speak privately with a member of the team.

We look forward to your application! You don't need a cover letter. Just send us your CV – even if you don't fully meet every requirement.

New Monday promotes equality for all employees. We welcome applications regardless of gender, origin, age, religion, belief, disability, or sexual identity. People with severe disabilities will be given preferential treatment in cases of equal suitability, taking into account the circumstances of the individual case.
