Technical Project Manager - IoT & Cloud (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

You are the central interface between our customers and our development team. You understand what customers really need, formulate it technically precise, and ensure that projects are structured, timely, and in line with customer needs.

While you bring your own assessments of requirements and priorities – the final roadmap decision is made jointly with the development leadership and management. You hold both worlds together: that of the customer and that of the team.

Your tasks

• Requirement intake & specification – you conduct conversations with customers, recognize the actual need, and translate it into clear user stories and tickets for the dev team
• Customer onboarding & support – you accompany new customers from the first integration to productive operation and are a long-term point of contact
• Product demos & customer presentations – you present our platform convincingly, technically grounded, and tailored to each customer
• Coordination & communication – you keep customers informed about project status and ensure that the dev team always knows the right priorities
• Roadmap input – you bundle customer feedback and market requirements and bring them structured into the alignment with development leadership and management

Qualification

You bring:

• Technical basic understanding – you know how APIs, cloud architectures, and software development work, even if you don't code yourself
• Experience working with development teams, e.g., in agile projects (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent communication skills – you can explain technical matters to customers and translate customer wishes precisely into the team
• Structured, self-responsible work style and joy in keeping an overview
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills a plus

A plus – but not a must:

• Experience in IoT-, SaaS- or industry environments
• Knowledge of common project management tools (e.g. Jira, Linear, Notion)
• Experience with API documentation or technical specifications
• Experience in customer project business with complex products requiring explanation
