Technical Project Manager - Data Projects

Role Overview We are looking for a highly capable Technical Project Manager with strong Data Project experience to lead and manage end-to-end delivery of enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data platforms, analytics, reporting, and cloud-based data transformation projects , along with strong stakeholder management and project execution capabilities. This role requires someone who can effectively bridge the gap between business, data engineering, and technology teams to deliver high-quality results. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets; • Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams; • Ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management; • Identifying and mitigating risks; • Providing technical guidance and oversight; • Collaborating with data engineers and scientists to design and implement data solutions; • Managing and tracking project progress and performance metrics. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in managing data projects. Strong understanding of data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases is required. Experience with cloud-based data transformation projects using tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Data Fusion is a plus. Certification in Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is desirable.
