Technical Product Owner (m/f/d)
Job description
This is us
Across multiple locations in Europe, our teams work daily to sustainably simplify shipping processes. We rely on open collaboration and short decision-making paths and are looking for people who want to take responsibility, contribute ideas, and actively help shape things.
Your Role
As a (Technical) Product Owner (m/f/d), you will be part of our Product Team and take responsibility for central technical interfaces and integrations of our platforms. Your focus will be particularly on our Customer APIs, the Unified Carrier Interface (UCI), and prospectively the Unified Financial Platform (UFP) and our HubSpot integration.
You will operate at the interface between Product, Engineering, and Business. You understand technical interrelationships, translate different requirements into clear priorities, and, together with our teams, ensure that our integrations function reliably and continuously evolve.
You will work closely with our Product Owners, our Technical Business Analyst, Software Engineers, and Data Insights, and at the same time be an important point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers, carriers, and external partners.
Your Tasks
- You will take responsibility for the roadmap of our Customer APIs for LMS Enterprise and LMS Next and strategically develop it further.
- You will drive the migration of our API customers from LMS Enterprise to LMS Next and identify which features and carrier integrations are needed for this.
- You will be the technical point of contact for our API customers and provide support with questions, as well as with the analysis and resolution of problems.
- You will be jointly responsible with internal and external stakeholders for the further development of our Unified Carrier Interface (UCI).
- You will analyze requirements for carrier features and services, prepare them for our engineering team, and support QA in defining relevant test cases.
- You will be in direct exchange with our carriers and clarify technical requirements and specificities regarding their integrations.
- After go-live, you will take responsibility for our Unified Financial Platform (UFP) and manage its backlog and further development.
- You will keep an eye on our existing HubSpot integration and prioritize adjustments according to new business requirements and feedback.
- Across all topics, you will bring together Engineering, Business Stakeholders, Carriers, and External Partners and ensure clear requirements, priorities, and decisions.
What You Bring
- You have a technical background, for example in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or have already worked for several years at the intersection of Product and Engineering.
- You have experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager – ideally in the context of APIs, platforms, or technical integrations.
- You have a good understanding of APIs, API design, versioning, and migration strategies and can lead technical discussions with our engineers at eye level.
- You can understand complex technical interrelationships and translate them understandably for different stakeholders.
- You are confident in stakeholder management and can weigh and prioritize different technical and economic requirements against each other.
- Multiple parallel workstreams and changing priorities do not throw you off – you keep an overview and set clear priorities.
- You enjoy working collaboratively and across locations with colleagues in Hamburg and Naarden.
- You are interested in AI tools and digital solutions and enjoy trying out new ways to make processes and workflows more efficient.
- Experience in logistics, parcel, or freight tech, especially with carrier API integrations, is a plus.
- Knowledge of HubSpot or CRM integrations, or financial and invoicing systems, is also an advantage.
