Technical Product Manager (m/w/d) - Charging Stations & Energy Systems

ELMI Power develops and markets battery-supported DC fast charging stations and battery storage systems – products that enable network-independent, high-efficiency charging and shape the future of the energy infrastructure. For our growing product team, we are looking for a technically strong individual who will normatively secure our hardware products, be responsible for technical documentation, and actively participate in the development of our portfolio.

Tasks

• Sales Readiness: 100% Ownership for our products, ensuring that our sales team can sell them in Technical Sales
• Technical Development: Participation in product roadmap and technical development of the portfolio – from requirement analysis to market readiness in an international team
• Norming & Certification: Responsibility for the normative conformity of our products on the German market (e.g. VDE 4100 ff., VDE 0100, Product Safety Act, CRITIS requirements according to BSI Act) and accompaniment of TÜV and VDE testing processes.
• Tech Sales Support: Support for the sales team in technical customer inquiries, tenders, and product presentations.
• Technical Documentation: Creation, maintenance, and further development of all technical documents for battery storage, DC charging stations, and combination systems – handbooks, data sheets, conformity declarations.

Qualification

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a comparable technical field.
• Technical Understanding: Technical understanding of hardware products in the area of power electronics, battery systems, or charging infrastructure. Practical experience in norming is a plus, but not a must.
• Affinity to Regulatory Topics: You find yourself at ease with standards, guidelines, and technical requirement documents and enjoy creating clarity.
• Communication Strength: You can prepare technical content for different target groups – from engineers to customers.
• Linguistic Skills: Fluent German and very good English are a prerequisite. Mandarin language skills are a significant plus point.
• Team Spirit and Initiative: You take responsibility, work solution-oriented, and actively bring yourself into a dynamic team.
