Technical Product Lead / Head of Product & Engineering (m/f/d)

FunnelCockpit is an all-in-one platform that companies use to build and automate their online marketing and sales processes. We continuously develop our product, relying heavily on modern AI technologies.

For this, we are looking for a person who brings together product, UX, and technical implementation: You understand our users, develop clear priorities from this, and at the same time, you lead our development team professionally. You don't have to program eight hours a day – but you should be technically deep enough in the product to reliably assess architecture, effort, and code quality, and to get hands-on yourself if necessary.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the further development of FunnelCockpit – from the product idea to successful release.

• You translate customer feedback, company goals, and technical requirements into a clear product roadmap.

• You prioritize features, bugs, and technical improvements, ensuring the team works on the most important topics.

• You lead and coordinate our development team professionally and further develop our working methods together with the team.

• You formulate understandable requirements and clear acceptance criteria without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

• You accompany technical decisions, code reviews, quality assurance, and releases.

• You test new features from our users' perspective and ensure simple, consistent UX.

• You work intensively with AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or comparable tools.

• You develop efficient AI-powered workflows for planning, implementation, testing, code review, and documentation.

• For important or complex topics, you dive into the code yourself, create prototypes, or support the team in root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in digital product management, software development, or a comparable technical product role.

• Very good technical understanding of modern web applications, APIs, databases, and software architecture.

• Practical experience in collaboration with, and ideally in leading, development teams.

• A good sense for UX, understandable user guidance, and pragmatic product design.

• Extensive practical experience with AI-powered software development, for example with Codex, Claude Code, or similar coding agents.

• You can critically review, test, and make AI-generated code production-ready.

• You work in a structured, self-responsible, and decisive manner.

• You can distinguish between a quick, pragmatic solution and a long-term sustainable architecture.

• Very good German skills and good English skills.

Your profile is particularly interesting if you have already managed a SaaS product or a complex web platform, still program regularly yourself, and have experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, automated tests, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
