Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on and safety-conscious Technical Operations Officer to support the day-to-day rail systems operations.

• Coordinate train movements, oversee control centre function, and support maintenance and logistical activities for safe and efficient operations of facility;
  
• Support safe and compliant rail operations, including train routing, vehicle shunting, and controlled track access;
  
• Monitor activities and enforce adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures;
  
• Coordinate delivery logistics and lifting operations with external contractors;
  
• Lead assigned teams involved in infrastructure and systems maintenance;
  
• Perform training of junior staff as required.
  

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Engineering, particularly electrical or mechanical engineering;
  
• Prior experience in rail operations would be an advantage;
  
• Team management and supervisory skills would be an advantage;
  
• Class 3 or 4 driving licence would be an advantage;
  
• Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  

Employment Details

• This role may require overseas travel for assignments;
  
• This role requires shift duty and overtime.
