Technical Onboarding Specialist (m/f/d)

In Germany, patients spend an incredible 30 billion euros on dental visits annually. Nevertheless, many dental practices still work with outdated software from the 1980s. Roger aims to revolutionize the dental industry by establishing modern, cloud-based technologies in dental practices to improve treatment planning, patient communication, and workflows for dentists and their teams.

Supported by leading investors from Europe and the USA, our startup is growing rapidly. Therefore, we are looking for a Technical Onboarding Specialist who will play a key role in the smooth introduction of our software to our customers. In this position, you will coordinate the installation of a local software component remotely and take on the configuration of communication channels such as WhatsApp.

This position is remote, allowing you to work flexibly from your preferred location. Internal communication within the company is in English, so good English skills are required to communicate effectively with our international teams – however, perfection is not necessary. As you will be working closely with dental practices in Germany, we expect native-level German.

This role is customer-oriented and requires a proactive, self-responsible personality with excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer contact. In a dynamic startup environment, you will take responsibility and independently drive technical solutions forward. You will work closely with our IT, Engineering, and Sales teams to make Roger an indispensable tool for dental professionals.

Tasks

1. Coordination of Software Installation: Organize and coordinate the remote installation of a local component in dental practices via TeamViewer. Work closely with the practice's IT and our internal IT team.
2. Execution of Installation: Independently carry out the installation of the software component and ensure that all systems are correctly connected.
3. Setup of Communication Channels: Configure and set up communication channels such as WhatsApp for use in the practice to enable optimal communication with patients.
4. Support in the Onboarding Process: Ensure that the software is optimally tailored to the needs of the practice and support the practice team with questions and training.
5. Customer Service and Communication: Maintain close and professional communication with the practices, be the first point of contact for technical questions, and accompany customers throughout the entire implementation phase.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Sales, Support, and Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions and optimally coordinate implementation.
7. Management of Internal IT: Support internal IT management and ensure that all IT resources are used effectively.

Bonus Tasks

• Technical Troubleshooting and Database Understanding: If possible, assist with technical troubleshooting by understanding the database system and its underlying logic to quickly solve technical challenges.

Qualification

• Technical Affinity and initial experience in working with software installations or IT systems.
• Strong Communication Skills and enjoyment of customer contact.
• Proactive and Solution-Oriented Approach – you independently find answers and implement projects in a structured manner.
• Good English Skills for internal communication within our international team.
