Technical Manager

Join a leading renewable energy company expanding its operations in Romania. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Manager to be part of our team in Bucharest, with some flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the local development team during the permitting process, preparing and supervising technical documentation from early stages to financial close.
• Lead technical assessments during energy project acquisitions, including full due diligence.
• Design technical specifications and RfPs during pre-construction and throughout construction phases.
• Support projects post-RTB and during construction preparation by reviewing engineering designs, assessing RFPs, and negotiating with contractors.
• Manage procurement during tendering, oversee cost control, and enhance procedures to ensure budget adherence.
• Interact with local authorities to support grid connection processes and provide necessary technical documentation.
• Visit construction sites as needed to provide support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in energy or electrical engineering.
• Experience in leading engineering aspects of solar PV project development.
• Knowledge of the Romanian renewable energy market, including local authorities and permitting procedures.
• Fluent in Romanian and English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
