Technical Lead with Java/Performance testing

Role Overview As a Product Technical Lead, you will own the end-to-end performance engineering strategy for enterprise-grade applications and platforms. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise in performance testing and tuning, and collaboration across Product Owners, Architects, SRE, DevOps, and Delivery Teams to ensure performance-by-design and release readiness. You will leverage Infosys Global Delivery Model and best practices to deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive performance engineering strategy for enterprise-grade applications and platforms. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance-by-design and release readiness. • Designing, developing, and testing high-performance applications and platforms. • Identifying and mitigating performance bottlenecks through root cause analysis and optimization techniques. • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of performance engineering best practices and tools. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in performance engineering. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in performance testing and tuning, preferably with Java-based applications. • Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. • Hands-on expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad. • Experience with Java-based technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Apache Cassandra. • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
