Technical Lead

We are looking for a Technical Leader who will help us build scalable, modern systems for clients from various industries. We work on implementations where the online store is just one element of a larger ecosystem: we integrate with ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS, CRM, CDP systems, build microservice architecture, and ensure high availability and performance of the entire platform. It is also possible to choose a different form of cooperation. The published salary ranges apply to B2B cooperation. Role Description: As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for the technical design and supervision of the implementation of key e-commerce platforms for our clients. Your tasks will include: * Designing and documenting the complete technical architecture of implemented systems, including online stores based on e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopware, or commercetools (also in headless model), microservice architecture and backend services, as well as integration, security, and scalability strategies. * Designing and developing complex integrations between the e-commerce platform and the client's domain systems (e.g., ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS, CRM, CDP) using REST API and GraphQL interfaces, as well as queues, asynchronous communication, and event-driven architecture. * Co-creating microservice architecture. * Creating and maintaining dedicated applications / microservices, implementing advanced functionalities and extensions to meet clients' unique business requirements. * Acting as a trusted technical advisor to the client and internal teams: participating in analytical workshops, recommending technological solutions, supporting development teams in making key architectural decisions. * Collaborating with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Developers in planning the technical roadmap, estimating complexity, and assessing technical risk. We are looking for you if: * You have at least 5 years of experience as an architect or senior developer with architectural responsibility in creating applications based on e-commerce platforms. * You have practical experience in designing microservice architecture. * You know the best practices for performance and optimization of web applications. * You are well-versed in caching mechanisms (e.g., HTTP cache, CDN, Redis, Varnish), application profiling and monitoring techniques, and can translate them into real system performance improvements. * Databases (SQL / NoSQL) are not a black box for you. * You have experience in designing and implementing integrations with back-office systems: ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS/CRM/CDP is also welcome. * You possess extensive practical experience with APIs (REST and GraphQL) and working with modern web technologies, e.g., React / Next.js. * You are fluent in English for communication with clients and partners (meetings, workshops, documentation). * You have a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving, can work in a team, and take responsibility for technical decisions. * You have documented knowledge of at least one of the selected e-commerce platforms, such as: Magento, Shopware, or Commercetools (commercial projects, certificates, or portfolio). * You have documented experience with headless architecture (e.g., Magento + frontend in React/Next.js, other headless CMS / e-commerce).
