Technical Installation Advisor

As a technical installation advisor, you ensure that we exactly know what the client needs and can have targeted conversations with partners/subcontractors. Thanks to your sharp analyses, we are able to offer quality at the most favorable costs. You advise during the tender and execution phase on the design and maintenance of public lighting for the realization of projects such as highways, dams, bridges, tunnels, container terminals, mooring points, and construction piers. Specifically, this means that you set up or review functional specifications and designs and test them against the established requirements. You use various digital systems such as Relatics, Dialux, Evo autocad / civil3D.

What you'll do as a Technical Installation Advisor:

• Tactically and/or strategically advise and support the tender team on issues related to public lighting and VRI (Traffic Rule Installations).
• Evaluate tenders and applications from subcontractors and advise on budgeting for registration.
• Evaluate and guide the design and design documents in different phases of the project.
• Conduct second-level inspections on processes and products.
• Guide and control delivery files.

What you bring:

• A few years of work experience as an engineer or advisor in the field of public lighting and/or VRI at a contractor, advisory firm, or engineering firm. We also invite ambitious starters with an electrical engineering background.
• You have knowledge of integrated contracts such as UAV-GC and contract forms like RAW, Design & Construct, and 2-phase contracts.
• You have knowledge of LED lighting and its installation.
• You possess a B driving license and are comfortable working on various (project) locations in the Netherlands.
• It's a plus if you have knowledge of Autocad, lighting calculation programs (Dialux, Calcalux), and cable calculation programs.
