As Technical Implementation Engineer (F/M/*), you will take technical leadership in onboarding and planning discussions, explaining API interfaces, data flows, and security questions, breaking down technical objections into concrete solution options and documenting decisions precisely and transparently. You will gather technical requirements from customers, translate these into clear, structured tickets for the engineering team, and ensure that Proof of Concepts (PoCs) run smoothly with defined timelines, success criteria, and handovers towards implementation and long-term adoption. At the same time, you will act as a savings partner for the sales team, breaking down technical hurdles before contract signing.

Aufgaben

• You are the first point of contact when it comes to analyzing and solving technical problems at customers. If necessary, you will pass on the problems to the right people.
• You analyze customer needs, develop solution architectures, and prepare demos and PoCs, which you will coordinate closely with the sales team.
• You explain complex technical functions and integration possibilities clearly in customer meetings, develop use cases, and identify potential technical hurdles, which you will present transparently.
• You work closely with engineering and product teams internally and bundle feedback from deals and translate these into precise engineering tickets to actively influence the product roadmap and quality.
• You support the customer success team in technical implementation, recognize early challenges, and ensure that customers are satisfied, contracts are extended, and upsell opportunities arise.
• You develop and optimize continuously materials like solution sheets, architecture slides, playbooks, and demo scripts to ensure consistent technical communication.
• You monitor market trends and competitors, work out technical differentiators, and equip the sales team with technical arguments.

Note: The focus lies on technical impact in the customer and sales process – no classical sales role.

Qualifikation

• You bring fundamental technical knowledge, especially in the areas of API, networks, VPN tunnels, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud.
• You have a completed education as a computer scientist or a completed degree in business informatics, computer science, or similar.
• Ideal candidates have already gained experience as sales engineers, solutions consultants, or technical account managers in a technology-driven SaaS environment.
• You can explain complex technologies clearly and technical decisions to customers, data-based, against senior engineers.
• You are used to working closely with multiple internal teams to link technical results with business goals and execute end-to-end tasks reliably.
• You write precise documents and demos in German and English, as well as lead conversations in mixed rounds (departments, IT, management).
