Technical Facilities Supervisor

Position Overview: Our client operates a unique and exceptional museum in Brussels that blends technology and creativity, offering immersive experiences. The Technical Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of productions within the venue, ensuring that lighting, sound, video, and special effects are executed smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of theatre production, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical theatre, with experience in lighting, sound, and video production. The Technical Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with the production team, ensuring that all technical aspects of the production are properly executed, and that the venue is prepared for each show. This includes overseeing the installation and testing of technical equipment, coordinating with the technical crew, and ensuring that all technical aspects of the production are properly documented. The Technical Facilities Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining the technical facilities and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order and that any necessary repairs or maintenance are performed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical theatre, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
