Technical Director (Chief Technical Officer) – ECI ProjectsAbout the company
ECI Projects is an EPC company specializing in the design and execution of electrical installations and renewable energy projects (photovoltaic farms, storage systems, electrical infrastructure). We focus on delivering integrated solutions, from concept to commissioning and maintenance.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Director with solid experience in electrical installations and energy projects, who will coordinate the company's technical activity, optimize internal processes, and ensure project delivery to high standards of quality, cost, and schedule.
The role involves direct responsibility for the design, execution, and technical implementation of projects, as well as coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinates the entire technical department (design, execution, commissioning)
- Supervises the development and implementation of projects
- Defines and optimizes technical processes and internal standards (procedures, work methodologies)
- Ensures technical compliance with current legislation, regulations, and standards
- Validates technical solutions proposed during the bidding and execution phases
- Coordinates technical relations with clients, consultants, and authorities
- Monitors the technical department's performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identifies technical risks and proposes mitigation solutions
- Supports business development through technical contributions in bidding and strategy
- Coordinates the implementation of new technologies (BESS, SCADA, digitalization, etc.)
Requirements
- University degree in electrical/energy field
- Relevant experience (min. 7–10 years) in electrical / renewable energy projects
- Experience in coordinating technical teams
- Solid knowledge in:
- medium and low voltage electrical installations
- photovoltaic systems and/or energy storage
- ANRE regulations, design, and execution
- Project management experience (advantage: EPC)
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
- English language – advanced level
