Technical Compliance Officer (m/w/d) Defence Sector

Our customer, a leading international publicly traded technology company from the automotive sector, is building its defence division as an independent unit and adapting existing software-defined platforms for security-critical defence applications.

You will be part of the team from the start and shape the build-up of this business field professionally and structurally actively with.

Working model: Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Locations: Ingolstadt, Regensburg, and Frankfurt am Main

Tasks

• Implementation of required certifications in the defence sector
• Ensuring compliance with defence regulations, export control & cybersecurity
• Monitoring and interpretation of national and international regulatory requirements
• Creating and maintaining audit- and certification documentation
• Interface to Engineering, PM, Quality, Export Control & Legal throughout the project cycle
• Main point of contact for authorities & certification bodies
• Support in risk analyses, compliance reviews, as well as training & awareness

Qualification

• Engineering / Quality Management or comparable studies
• 5-8 years of experience in Compliance/Certifications (ideally defence)
• Very good knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. MIL-STD, ISO 9001, ISO 27001)
• Audit experience & handling with authorities/inspection bodies
• Very structured working style, high attention to detail
• Fluent German and English
