Catella Investment Management GmbH (CIM) is a subsidiary of the Swedish Catella AB, represented in 12 countries with almost 500 employees. The CIM is a leading platform for the valuation and portfolio management of European residential and commercial property funds as well as individual mandates.

You can expect varied and challenging tasks in a sympathetic and dynamic team.

Aufgaben

  • Taking over landlord functions and independently processing building projects for various funds (renovations, expansions, rights of way, etc.) as well as coordinating, steering, and monitoring construction participants.
  • Supporting the Head of Technical Asset Management.
  • Supporting financial asset managers, for example, in negotiations with lessees and tenants regarding building and technical issues.
  • Advising portfolio and risk management on technical questions regarding the managed properties.
  • Collaboration with acquisition teams, including site visits to inspect properties before purchase and providing expert feedback to the acquisition team.
  • Participation in technical due diligence processes for purchases and sales.
  • Analyzing and implementing ESG strategies at the property level.
  • Participating in improving organization, work processes, IT systems, and risk management.
  • Maintaining a network.

Qualifikation

  • A completed university degree with a technical focus, e.g., civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, or a comparable education.
  • Fundamental professional experience in the field of project management, project development, value add, or similar tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of building law, fire protection, VOB, and HOAI.
  • Knowledge of ESG standards.
  • General real estate market knowledge.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, structured, and meticulous work style.
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills in writing and speaking.
