Technical Accounting Manager

We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager. This individual will play a key role in supporting complex accounting matters, building scalable processes, collaborating cross-functionally, and contributing to a strong internal control and reporting environment that meets the standards of a sophisticated, fast-growing SaaS company. This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office. What You’ll Do ● Support the monthly and quarterly close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. ● Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for complex accounting transactions, including revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and business combinations. ● Research and analyze new accounting standards and provide guidance on their implementation. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Legal, and Sales, to ensure accurate financial reporting. ● Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. ● Assist with the preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures. ● Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes. ● Assist with internal and external audits. ● Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. ● Mentor and develop junior accounting staff. What You’ll Bring ● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. ● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent. ● 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on technical accounting and financial reporting. ● Strong understanding of US GAAP. ● Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606. ● Experience with stock-based compensation accounting. ● Experience with business combinations accounting. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus. ● Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.
