Technical Account Manager

As our Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for relationship management and ongoing new business generation with established and prospective customers covering printing services, Voice Communications, and Audio-Visual Solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales by engaging new clients, focusing on identifying print, AV, and phone systems opportunities.

  • Maintain and follow up on customer pipeline, including cold call contacts
  • Expand sales within the existing Canon client base, and identify managed service opportunities
  • Deliver competitive solutions to new and existing clients through research, support, and service recommendations

  • Stay professionally updated via training, publications, networking, and industry participation

  • Handle sales administration: complete paperwork, update Hubspot and JIM records

  • Regularly review JIM job queue and maintain Hubspot pipeline, follow up on contract renewals

  • Support MD with sales and order processing as needed, address and escalate customer complaints from sales or installations promptly

  • Sustain client relationships through ongoing contact and events

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar sales or technical pre-sales role
  • Experience in selling printing services, Voice Communications, and Audio-Visual Solutions, preferably for a Managed Service Provider
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical clients.
  • A team-player with collaboration skills to work closely with internal teams, including technical, sales, and support departments.
  • The ability to analyse data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess client satisfaction and performance.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset, prioritizing the client's success and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs, industry trends, and organizational priorities.
