YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION 

We are looking for a senior Spring Boot application developer with a production-first mindset.

The developer will join a team of backend and frontend developers, within an agile feature team that builds and runs several critical Decathlon applications.

• The developer will bring their strong technical expertise to all of the team's projects.
• You will participate in the technical architecture design, ensuring the scalability and evolvability of the solutions.
• You will participate in design workshops for multiple products (front and back).
• You will be proactive within cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and define technical choices in line with established standards.
• You will ensure code quality by promoting good development practices.
• You will stay up-to-date with new technologies and propose their integration to build the solutions of tomorrow.
• You will collaborate with Product Management to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• You will actively contribute to task planning and team process improvement.

TECHNICAL STACK

• Backend Technologies: Kotlin, SpringBoot4
• Frontend: ReactJS. The ability to contribute to the frontend part of projects is a plus.

• Monitoring & Infrastructure: familiar with monitoring (Datadog is a plus) and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Flux, in cloud environments.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have a production mindset: you know what "prod first" means and the importance of observability in a context where errors have immediate and significant impacts.
• You enjoy working in an agile environment.
• You are capable of proposing and co-building demanding technical solutions.
• You have several years of experience as a Java or Kotlin developer.
• Solid experience in using and maintaining a CI/CD & all layers of testing (Unit, Acceptance, Integration, Load Testing...).
• You can communicate effectively with technical experts as well as with the business and its representatives.
• Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools.
• Ability to contribute in React would be a plus.
