Job description
You like talking to people? Then talk to ours.
At Enzo, we prevent water damage before it happens. Our smart water sensors and our AI platform one.drop protect households all over Germany - together with leading insurance companies in Germany.
For this to work, every customer needs someone to guide them: from unpacking the sensor to the moment it reports a water flow for the first time. This person is you.
As a Waterflow Agent (m/f/d), you will spend most of your day in direct conversation with our customers - by phone and video call, supplemented by follow-up emails where needed. You are not the hotline that waits for the phone to ring. You call before someone has a problem.
What you do with us
Around 70-80% of your day is spent in actual customer conversations. The rest is preparation and follow-up, so no case is left behind.
Guide customers through every step: You will guide new customers through the onboarding process by phone and video call - from placing the order to installing the sensor to setting up the app.
Proactively call instead of waiting: You will contact customers who do not respond to emails, whose sensor is offline, or who have a next step pending.
Follow up independently: You will keep track of your cases, set your own follow-ups, and send an email after the conversation where it helps. You will stay on it until the matter is truly resolved.
Stay calm in emergencies: If the sensor reports water, you will clearly explain what happens next and work closely with our Water Risk Managers and insurance partners.
Persuade with words: Whether a tech enthusiast or a smartphone novice, whether 25 or 80: you will find the right tone for everyone and explain processes in a way that sticks.
Improve products and processes: You will hear daily about what's not working. You will bring this feedback to the team and actively shape our customer service.
What you bring
Essential:
Verbal fluency: You formulate in German, both spoken and written, with style, accuracy, and idiomatic expression. You explain complex things simply and find the right words even in difficult conversations.
Genuine enjoyment of talking on the phone: A day full of conversations energizes you rather than drains you. You prefer to pick up the phone than write the third email.
Technical understanding: App, sensor, and co. - you are not afraid of technology and quickly understand how things are connected. This allows you to safely guide customers on the phone even when you are not on-site, and to find the cause together with them when something isn't working.
Initiative: You do not wait for instructions. If a case is open, you follow up - on your own accord.
Start-up mentality: We are in the building phase, processes are changing. You pitch in where needed and can handle any situation without a manual.
Good English skills: You speak German with customers, and we speak English within the team.
Customer service experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in customer service or customer success, speaking with customers daily by phone or video call. Ideally, you know this from a SaaS or tech start-up where processes change quickly and you help shape them yourself.
A plus:
Customer onboarding experience: You have already guided customers through processes and know how to lead them step-by-step to their goal.
Experience with insurance, claims, or smart home products
Experience in the sanitary or installation sector: You know where water pipes run and can guide customers safely through installation and leak detection.
Experience with Zendesk or a similar ticketing system
What we offer you
Meaningful work: Every conversation helps prevent water damage - saving trouble, costs, and resources.
Scope for development: We are currently rebuilding our customer support service. Your ideas will be directly incorporated.
Grow with us: Enzo is still in its early stages. As we grow, so do the opportunities.
Small, cohesive team: Short communication channels and direct collaboration with the founders.
Hybrid work: Ideally 1-2 days a week in our office in Heidelberg, 6 minutes' walk from the main train station. Remote work is also possible for the right person.
Clear working hours: Regularly 9 AM - 6 PM. It is advantageous if you are flexible and can occasionally work evenings or Saturdays - in addition to, not instead of, your normal hours.
Start date: ASAP
