Tech Sales Executive – Manufacturing
Job description
The role involves supporting lead qualification, customer coordination, proposal preparation, and assisting in positioning CCTech’s digital engineering, automation, and manufacturing software solutions to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Opportunity Tracking
- Support identification and qualification of sales leads in manufacturing and industrial accounts.
- Assist senior sales members in tracking and managing active opportunities.
- Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in CRM systems.
Customer & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communications with manufacturing clients.
- Understand basic manufacturing workflows, engineering processes, and customer pain points.
- Support preparation of requirement summaries and meeting notes.
Solution & Proposal Support
- Assist in positioning manufacturing-focused solutions such as:
- CAD/CAM/CAE automation
- Engineering software customization and integrations
- Digital manufacturing and factory digitization solutions
- Data-driven dashboards and engineering analytics
- Coordinate with pre-sales and delivery teams for technical and commercial inputs.
- Support preparation of proposals, presentations, and capability decks.
Market & Process Support
- Track manufacturing industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback.
- Support internal sales processes, reporting, and documentation.
- Participate in internal product, domain, and sales enablement sessions.
RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (engineering background preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Strong interest in manufacturing technologies, engineering software, and automation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn consultative and solution-led sales approaches.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace tools.
- Good organizational, coordination, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to manufacturing environments, OEMs, or engineering services companies.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE tools or manufacturing workflows.
- Basic understanding of digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or automation concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
