We are looking for an experienced and dedicated interim solution for technical project management in an international rail vehicle project. The project involves the modernization (retrofit) of train control systems in locomotives. You will be responsible for the technical implementation and work closely with international partners and stakeholders to ensure project success. Your tasks: Taking on technical project management in the field of rail vehicle retrofit for train control systems in locomotives Coordination of all technical interfaces and departments (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.) Ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and quality requirements Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and the customer Technical management of the integration of new train control systems, considering national and international standards and regulations Risk analysis, problem management, and reporting to project management Support of acceptance tests, test runs, and certification processes Your profile: Successfully completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the rail vehicle sector Sound knowledge in the field of train control systems and their integration into rail vehicles Experience in international projects and interdisciplinary collaboration Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) High communication and problem-solving skills Fluent German and English skills, French a plus If interested, we look forward to receiving your CV!
