Tech Lead - Data Platform Engineering (m/f/d) Azure and Databricks

We develop data platforms and data products for our clients. For our team, we are looking for a Tech Lead who designs modern data platform solutions, takes technical responsibility, and provides professional guidance to Data Platform Engineers.

Responsibilities

• You will conceptualize and implement data platform solutions with Databricks and Azure.
• You will develop standards and best practices for scalable, secure, and automated data platforms.
• You will lead a team of Data Platform Engineers, provide technical guidance, and support their professional development.
• Together with management, you will develop employees, expand business areas, and build customer relationships.
• You will develop reusable solution approaches and integrate them specifically into customer projects.

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in a STEM field or Business Informatics, or possess equivalent qualifications.
• You have at least five years of professional experience in Data Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or Cloud Platform Engineering.
• You have conceptualized and implemented modern data platforms, ideally with Databricks and Azure, and are familiar with Lakehouse, cloud, and platform architectures.
• You have previously taken on technical responsibility in projects or teams and have experience with governance, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD, for example, with Terraform.
• You communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders, enjoy working in a team, and continuously develop your knowledge.
