Tech Lead Data Engineering (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead Data Engineering (m/w/d), who takes technical responsibility, develops teams further and scales data architectures to the next level.

In this role, you will work on challenging data & analytics solutions based on modern cloud technologies and design future-proof lakehouse architectures for complex data-driven use cases.

Aufgaben

• Design and further development of modern data platforms based on Databricks and cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or GCP
• Development of scalable ETL/ELT processes as well as high-performance data pipelines
• Setup and optimization of modern lakehouse architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Technical responsibility for architecture decisions and engineering standards
• Fachliche Führung und Mentoring von Data Engineers
• Einführung und Weiterentwicklung von Best Practices im Bereich Data Engineering & DataOps
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Stakeholdern aus Business, Analytics und Engineering
• Evaluierung neuer Technologien und aktive Mitgestaltung der technologischen Roadmap

Qualifikation

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im modernen Data Engineering, idealerweise im Senior- oder Lead-Umfeld

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in:

• Python

• SQL

• Apollo Spark

• Databricks

• Delta Lake

• Erfahrung mit mindestens einer Cloud-Plattform: Azure, AWS oder GCP

• Verständnis moderner Datenarchitekturen und verteilter Systeme

• Erfahrung mit CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code oder automatisierten Deployments ist von Vorteil

• Kommunikationsstärke sowie Freude daran, Wissen weiterzugeben und technische Themen voranzutreiben

• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
