Aufgaben

Your Mission

You'll be our Inhouse Techie: You'll ensure that our system runs smoothly, remains scalable, and processes are maximally automated.

Shopify Expertise (Core Area)

• Maintenance of our Shopify shops & marketplace integrations
• Setup, optimization, and monitoring of themes, apps, and checkout flows
• Development of Shopify Plugins/Apps (Liquid, JavaScript, API connections)
• Performance monitoring & conversion optimization
• Tech error analysis & bug fixing for shop or API issues

Automation & AI Workflows

• BUILDING automation (Make, Zapier, n8n, AI tools)
• Optimization of our internal processes: products, orders, returns, data flows
• Development of small tools/scripts for automating repetitive tasks
• Collaboration with the team to eliminate manual steps

Shop Analytics & Monitoring

• Analysis of shop performance: conversion, speed, funnel, errors
• Tracking, reporting, monitoring (e.g. GA4, events, API data)
• Suggestions and implementation of measures to improve performance

Technical Operations

• Ensuring our marketplace runs smoothly at all times
• Identification and resolution of errors (API, automation, data processes)
• Tech interface between Product, Ops & CTO

Qualifikation

What you bring

• 2–5+ years of experience with Shopify (Liquid, theme development, app integration)
• Experience in Automation Tools (Make, Zapier, n8n, AI workflows)
• Solid coding skills (JavaScript, Liquid; bonus: Python)
• Understanding of shop performance, load times, conversion
• Able to analyze and resolve technical problems independently
• Possibility to take on responsibility in a rapidly scaling startup
• Remote work experience & self-organized work style
