Job description
The BLB is looking for a Team Management Prenzlau (m/f/d) in the Federal Construction Management Business Unit for its Prenzlau location as soon as possible (permanent position).
The Brandenburg State Office for Real Estate and Construction (BLB) is a central partner for the real estate, building, and construction management of the State of Brandenburg, as well as for the construction tasks of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Federal Construction Management Business Unit includes the planning and implementation of new construction projects, as well as construction-related tasks in the existing buildings and facilities of the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks, the Bundeswehr, the Federal Police, the German Weather Service, the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, and other federal agencies. We plan and build everything from office and accommodation buildings, sports halls, fire stations, to helicopter hangars, and special technical facilities such as measuring stations, radio towers, firing ranges, and data centers. We want to tackle the upcoming tasks together with you, with increased digitalization of construction processes and the realization of federal climate goals.
These are your tasks:
You are responsible for the personnel and technical management of a team, currently consisting of 5 engineers.
You support project managers in challenging individual projects.
You are the regional contact person for the BLB, responsible for construction-related support and advice.
You are responsible for cost, schedule, and quality controlling of construction projects and the implementation of current construction law regulations.
Essential for the position:
A successfully completed degree as Dipl.-Ing. (FH/HS) or Bachelor in Architecture or Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or a comparable qualification combined with experience in project management and personnel management.
Willingness for an extended security check (Ü2) according to the Security Screening Act (SÜG).
What is important:
You think in complex contexts and have a strong drive to shape things, combined with appreciative behavior and self-reflection.
With emotional intelligence and motivating communication, you know how to inspire your employees, develop them further, and delegate tasks meaningfully.
You have a reflected approach to conflict.
You act and think proactively and are decisive.
You convince through loyal conduct, active listening, and strong self-motivation.
You succeed in fostering team diversity and utilizing different approaches to thinking.
Desirable:
Professional experience in a relevant field, e.g., in an engineering firm, a construction company, or public administration.
Knowledge and experience with the Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI).
Basic knowledge of public procurement and contract law (UvgO, VgV, VOB).
Knowledge of the Guidelines for the Execution of Federal Construction Projects (RBBau).
Competent use of the German language in spoken and written form (equivalent to C1 language level).
Driving license class B.
Our offer:
Effective and future-proof: We offer a meaningful and future-oriented activity with diverse and responsible tasks, as well as participation in unique projects.
Work-Life-Balance: We guarantee the compatibility of family and career through flexible working time models.
32 plus x days off: You are entitled to 30 days of annual leave, plus additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, as well as the possibility to take compensatory time off.
Health management: We care about your health within the framework of our company health management.
Further training opportunities: Individual development through further training and courses, as well as an interdisciplinary work environment, are a matter of course for us.
Attractive remuneration: You will receive an attractive remuneration and further benefits according to the collective agreement for the Länder (TV-L), such as an annual special payment, supplementary pension from the VBL, capital-forming benefits, and a subsidized VBB company ticket with employer contribution.
The position is classified under pay group 13gD TV-L. Within pay group 13, depending on the experience level, you can expect an annual salary currently between €59,324.12 and €84,319.83. The assignment to an experience level within the pay group will take into account your personal qualifications.
We welcome every application, regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age, or sexual orientation and gender identity. The position is generally suitable for part-time employment. Applications from women are expressly welcome.
