Team Leadership Payroll (m/w) | Industry Metal

We are looking for an experienced person to lead the payroll team for a renowned, internationally active industrial group in the Salzburg area. The position is long-term and offers the opportunity to be both operationally and structurally shaping – especially with the introduction of a new HCM/payroll system.

Your Tasks

• Leading the payroll team (team size: approximately 2-3 people)
• Ensuring correct and timely payroll for employees and workers
• Key user role in introducing a new HCM system including payroll
• Analyzing, developing, and standardizing payroll and HR processes
• Communication interface to employees, especially in the industrial sector
• Closely working with HR leadership and finance

Requirements

Your Profile

• Multiple years of experience in payroll management
• Very good knowledge of the collective agreement for the metalworking industry
• Experience in the industry or a comparable production environment
• Structured, process-oriented work approach
• Excellent communication skills and high service orientation
• Experience with modern payroll/HCM systems (e.g. Moonsoft, BMD, SAP or similar systems – not mandatory)
• Leadership experience is advantageous but not a requirement
